My First Time in a Pentecostal Church

This is a rewrite of an old piece from a Literary Journalism class at University of Florida. The assignment was to do something totally out of our element and write about it, so I went to church for the first time.

Today, I brought it into present tense. I love it so much now; it's hard to understand why I ever thought past tense was a good idea.
